In the first part, we discussed that it is very important to have a list of the most important soft skills in your resume and mentioned five of them for you.

In the following, we will introduce you to 5 more of these skills.

Leadership skills are the skills you use when organize other people to achieve a common goal. Whether you hold a managerial position or a responsible member of a project team, leadership skills help you to motivate others to complete tasks as planned.

 

Relevant leadership skills include:

o   Team building

o   Time Management

 

7. Managerial skills

Management skills are characteristics that help you manage not only tasks but also people. A good manager must have different abilities be organized, be empathetic, and communicate very clearly to support a team or project. Managers also should be proficient in both soft and technical skills specific to their industry.

o   Decision making

o   Project planning

o   Delegation of duty

o   Team communication

o   Team leadership

 

8. Problem-solving skills

Problem-solving skills are abilities that help you identify the root of a problem and quickly find an effective solution. This skill is very valuable in any position and for any industry. Solving problems in your role may require technical skills related to the industry in which you are occupied.

9. Time management skills

Time management skills let you complete tasks and projects ahead of schedule while maintaining a work-life balance. Staying organized can help you prioritize your more important and necessary tasks. Understanding your individual, team and company goals can be the starting point for making decisions about how to manage your time. Without knowing the goals, it is not possible to prioritize and manage time.

10. Transferable skills

Transferable skills are those abilities and characteristics that can be useful for any employer, regardless of job and field of activity. These skills often include soft skills, such as flexibility, organizing, teamwork, or other characteristics that can be considered useful and important characteristics in any job and industry.

For example, you gained special experiences in your previous job, which you can use in your new job and transfer with you.
